'When one creates order, one creates more entropy as well -the boiling tea whose atoms are on the verge of dissolution regains its equilibrium if you place it in the refrigerator; but how much energy had to be spent to achieve this? Muscular articulation, movement of bodies, fabrication of machines, operating motors... We live in a universe where more and more entropy is being created -fragments of order here and there, whose coercitive force establishes an unimaginable chaos. When we realise that this chaos is irreversible, we understand that time could be defined as such: between a situation α and a situation ω, there exists a difference in entropy -this difference might also be called time.'
